Open Age

Open Age is a membership organisation, offering a weekly programme of low-cost fun-filled activities, courses and events designed specifically to meet the needs of Londoners over 50.

Our activities range from Yoga, Boxing, Pilates, Chair Exercise, Healthy Lungs, Bone Health, Steady & Stable (Falls Prevention), and IT courses to phone groups to singing, creative writing, Life drawing and painting, cultural visits and weekly sessions for unpaid carers to name but a few! Each one enables our members to meet new people, have fun together and feel part of a community – because we’re here to help people live happier, healthier and more connected lives.”

Link-Up

  • Link-Up introduces people aged 50+ into Open Age activities.
  • 1 to 1 support & encouragement to help people access activities at their own pace 
  • Support to identify interests & matching suitable activities to individual needs 
  • Practical problem solving to reduce & remove barriers to Open Age 
  • Friendly and patient advice about older people’s services in the area

 

Men’s Space Activities:

  • Dedicated tailored activities for isolated older Men
  • (Cooking, Football, Exercise, Music, IT, Social Groups)
  • Support through conversations to build rapport and get engaged to Men’s and wider Open Age programme)

We also have activities taking place in Hammersmith and Fulham which are included in our programme - please see separate marketplace entry for details as referral info is a bit different.
