Newham Council’s Employment Rights Hub is for Newham residents who need free, confidential advice and support about employment rights. The service can help you understand your employment status, what rights may apply, and what options you may have if you are being treated unfairly at work. - Get advice on redundancy pay, unfair dismissal, notice periods and pay - Understand rights around working hours, rest breaks, health and safety and flexible working - Get guidance on sick leave, holiday pay and time off for emergencies - Get support with fair and equal treatment at work, including discrimination concerns - Get advice about pay issues such as unlawful deductions, the National Minimum Wage and the London Living Wage - Be directed to other support if advocacy or employment tribunal representation is needed Cost: Free How to access: Request a referral through Joy.
