Newham Adult Social Care works with adults aged 18 and over who have care or support needs. The Access to Adult Social Care Team can discuss your situation, offer information and advice, and identify whether an assessment or further support is needed.
- Talk through what is happening and what support may be available
- Find out whether a needs, carer’s or occupational therapy assessment is required
- Get information and advice about local services and activities
- Be connected to a practitioner assessment if your needs require it
- Discuss support that may help you stay independent and safe
Cost: Adult Social Care services are means tested and are not free for everyone; any contribution is based on a financial assessment.
