Our Food Bank and Warm Haven are both open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.30-12pm at our centre in Stratford: The Carpenters' and Dockland Centre. We are currently supporting around 700 people every week with food parcels, hygiene, sanitary and cleaning products. Our Warm Haven is a welcoming 'community cafe,' where you can get some hot food, drinks, clothing, charge your devices and use our showers. We also have acupuncture, a barber, and advice sessions. All of this is free to people who need it.
With the support of many funders and food suppliers including Marks and Spencer's, Sainsbury's and Fareshare, we are able to provide the most essential items to those in need. Where possible we also provide some items to smaller Food Banks operating in Newham who are also members of the Newham Food Alliance.
