Trade Sexual Health is a Leicester-based charity that works to preserve and improve the good health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people and all those impacted by HIV.

We are currently recruiting for the following volunteer roles (training and supervision is available to support all role):

Outreach workers and peer educators - Support us in promoting safer sex and our services in various community settings (to LGBTQ+ people, people living with HIV, and 'new arrivals' such as migrants, asylum-seekers, and international students).
Rapid HIV testers - Support the delivery of our community and event-based HIV testing.
Fundraisers - Devise and deliver fundraising activities/events for Trade.
Translators - Help us to translate our material into community languages.
Counsellors - We are seeking counsellors (either qualified to diploma level or in-training and looking for a placement) to support the delivery of our Approach counselling service.

We are also in the process of developing a community allotment, developing a programme of work around trans health, recording older LGBTQ+ people's stories, and a new peer support group for neurodivergent LGBTQ+ people - if you would like to help us get these projects off the ground, or have other ideas for LGBTQ+ community building, please get in touch.
