BeWell@StepOne's next free 6-week Yoga Wellbeing Group in Paignton will start on Friday 25th of July 2025.

When: Friday mornings at 9.30am until 10.30am

BeWell@StepOne, with the support of Fitness Essentials, Torbay on the Move, Shekinah and Active Devon, is delighted to be able to bring you this free yoga programme in Paignton.

Even if you've never done yoga before, you're welcome to join!
If you have been struggling with your mental health and wellbeing, this course may be very beneficial for you. The yoga sessions will also offer the benefits of peer support, allowing you to connect with others who may be facing similar challenges around maintaining good mental health and wellbeing. Optional social time with tea and coffee follows each session.
Every session of the 6 week program will be different, offering you the opportunity to learn new skills each week. After the 6 free sessions you should start to feel, and see a change in your body, which may very well increase your confidence. In every step of your journey we will adapt exercises so your own self-belief in your ability to move will happen.
Weather dependent, the session will take place on the lawn area just outside the log cabin as you enter Shekinah Grow. If we have inclement weather (which is likely from Oct to March) we will host it in the Log Cabin. Yoga mats are provided and there is no cost for attending, although donation are very welcome but not at all compulsory.
Please note: We will require all participants to complete a consent form, a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire and Pre-course wellbeing survey prior to the first session. These forms will be found on the course page of our learning portal once you have enrolled, and can be completed electronically. If you have difficulties in completing them we will do all we can to help. Please contact us accordingly.
