Mentoring programme

We offer young people a mentoring model whose mission is to identify, manage, and reduce the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (A.C.E.’s). We combine a Public Health model with a Trauma Informed Mentoring Approach to help young people and their families develop resilience in a person-centred way.

The outcomes for our mentoring programmes and our mentees are:

  • Positive changes in self-perception - Self-confidence/esteem
  • Positive changes in behaviour and situational choices - Behaviour Improvement
  • Positive changes in relationships with others - Relationship with others
  • Positive changes in thinking about the future - Aspiration
  • Creating a rewarding space for self-development for all - Collaboration

Our mentoring support is advertised and shared through two avenues:

A) social media and our website, and

B) referral partners and relevant services (e.g., Social Services, YOT (Youth Offending Team), Police, S.E.N, Mental Health Organisations, Local Community, All FFP Staff, Other Youth Organisations and FFP Partners).
