Rutland Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafés
Verified service

Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafés offer a welcoming, local space for adults who need immediate support with their mental health. Our cafés are drop-in centres where anyone can come and talk about their mental health—no appointment or referral needed.

We provide one-to-one listening and help clients develop future support plans. If you are struggling and need someone to talk to, please come along during our opening hours.

  • Oakham Location: Pepper's- A Safe Place, 2A High Street, Oakham, LE15 6AL. Open every Thursday 5:30-8:30pm.
  • Uppingham Location: Uppingham Town Hall. Open every Friday 1-4pm.

Our service is free and open to all adults. You can drop in, call, text, or email during opening hours, or book an appointment (face-to-face or via Zoom).

  • Free parking is available at both locations.
  • If you need a lift to Oakham, volunteer drivers are available with discounted fares.

Please note: The Oakham venue is on the first floor and does not have wheelchair access.

Our friendly team of listeners is here to support you. For urgent help outside our hours, we signpost to NHS, Samaritans, SHOUT, Mind, The Mix, and Papyrus HOPELINEUK.
