Singing and Social Group for People affected by Dementia.
Singing for the Brain brings people affected by dementia together to sing a variety of songs they know and love, in a fun and friendly environment. We also do vocal exercises that help improve brain activity and wellbeing.
Join our inclusive singing group designed for individuals seeking a friendly and social atmosphere. This group is open to anyone affected by dementia—no prior singing experience is required. Participants can enjoy the cognitive and emotional benefits of singing while engaging with new friends in a supportive environment.
What We Offer:
Fun vocal warm-ups - A diverse selection of familiar and new songs - Support from experienced group leaders - Access to information and advice from a local Dementia Adviser
Eligibility: Open to all anyone affected by dementia. No singing skills necessary.
Schedule:
Sessions take place on the first, third, and fourth Wednesday of the month.
