Singing and Social Group for People affected by Dementia.
Join us for a fun and stimulating social activity designed to enhance cognitive function, improve well-being and aid communication.
These sessions are open to anyone with a diagnosed memory impairment or dementia and their carer’s and friends in Blaby.
Each month, different local services visit to offer advice and help people stay connected.
Singing for the Brain brings people affected by dementia together to sing a variety of songs they know and love, in a fun and friendly environment. We also do vocal exercises that help improve brain activity and wellbeing.
Eligibility: Open to all affected by dementia within the Blaby District.
Schedule:
Sessions take place on the first, third, and fourth Wednesday of the month.
Time: 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
