CBME Forum offers a range of programmes designed to support the health and wellbeing of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities in Croydon.
Our programmes address key areas such as cancer awareness, mental health, long-term conditions, and community development. We work in partnership with statutory providers, voluntary sector organisations, faith groups, and local communities to tackle inequalities and improve access to vital services.
- Cancer Awareness Programme: Helping individuals understand the importance of early detection and providing peace of mind through information and support.
- Ethnicity and Mental Health Improvement Project (EMHIP): A practical, locality-based initiative focused on improving mental health care for BME communities.
- Mental Health Community Development Workers (CDW): Addressing inequalities in mental health service experience and outcomes by working collaboratively with partners and communities.
- Long Term Conditions (LTC): Increasing awareness and providing information to harder-to-reach groups who may not regularly access GP or NHS services.
Our programmes are delivered locally in Croydon and are open to all members of the community, with a particular focus on supporting BME individuals and families.
