The Silver Line Helpline is a free, confidential telephone service for older people, run by Age UK. We are here to provide friendship, conversation, and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to anyone aged 55 or over across the UK.
Whether you are feeling lonely, isolated, or simply want someone to talk to, our friendly team is always ready to listen. We understand that connection is important at any age, especially if you live alone or far from family and friends. Our helpline offers:

There is no cost to use The Silver Line Helpline. Simply call us free on 0800 4 70 80 90 at any time, day or night.
