The Wellbeing Centre

The Wellbeing Centre at Princess Alice Hospice offers a welcoming and supportive environment for people living with life-limiting or progressive illnesses, as well as their families and carers. Our specialised outpatient services and activities are designed to help you manage symptoms, build confidence, and regain control of your life.

What we offer:

  • Group sessions including mindfulness, yoga, seated exercise, creative writing, music for wellbeing, and guided relaxation—available both in-person and online.
  • Complementary therapies such as aromatherapy, massage, reflexology, reiki, and acupuncture, tailored to your needs and delivered by experienced therapists.
  • Support groups for patients and carers, providing a safe space to share experiences, gain advice, and connect with others in similar situations.
  • One-to-one sessions with nurses and therapists for personalised support and advice.
  • Information mornings covering topics like pain management, benefits advice, keeping active, emotional care, and planning ahead for end-of-life arrangements.

Access and eligibility:

  • Open to anyone with a life-limiting or progressive illness, and their loved ones.
  • Referrals accepted from any healthcare professional.
  • Patients must live and be registered with a GP in the area covered by Princess Alice Hospice.

All sessions are free of charge and delivered by a compassionate team of staff and volunteers. You can join activities at the Wellbeing Centre in Esher or online from home. Our aim is to support your physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, helping you live as fully and independently as possible.
