Stop Smoking (Luton)

Stop Smoking in Luton is an NHS Stop Smoking Service delivered through Active Luton’s Total Wellbeing network. The service runs a 12‑week programme that combines behavioural support with up to 4–6 weeks of stop smoking aids. Stop Smoking Specialists work with you to tailor medication options, motivation, and goal‑setting to support your quit journey. Throughout the programme you’ll have the opportunity to discuss Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) options, prescriptive medications and e‑ cigarette options, and to find what works best for you. Face‑to‑face appointments are available at multiple locations across Luton, Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm, including an evening clinic open until 8pm (hours may vary on Saturdays), and sessions may take place at GP surgeries or in community settings. Referrals can be initiated directly by clients or through most healthcare professionals, such as general practitioners, or other Total Wellbeing services. Please note: 12–18 year olds can only be supported with a parent/guardian consent and can only use NRT products as a treatment. You can get in touch by texting QUIT to 60066 (standard network charges apply), by calling Tel: 0300 555 4152, or by emailing info@totalwellbeingluton.org. Prescription costs may apply for medications; some medications are GP‑prescription only. The programme also supports smokers who wish to quit tobacco using e‑ cigarettes where appropriate.
