ELFT Diabetes Education Programmes

East London Foundation Trust (ELFT) runs free specialist education programmes for people with diabetes. These include:

  • Online weight management programme - supporting adults living with obesity who also have a diagnosis of diabetes, hypertension or both, to manage their weight and improve their health.
  • Healthy Living programme - learn how to manage your type 2 diabetes.
  • Newly diagnosed DESMOND programme - learn how to manage your type 2 diabetes if you are newly diagnosed
  • One on one sessions - suitable for people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and substance use.
  • Non English Education Group - specialist support in patients' preferred language.
  • Diabetes Specialist Nursing - For all ages. Supporting people with diabetes to develop expertise and knowledge in their condition to get the most out of life.
