Head2Head Sensory Theatre is a registered special needs and disability theatre charity based near Oxted, Tandridge in Surrey. We are dedicated to making theatre accessible to all, offering immersive sensory experiences, drama workshops, and creative events for families, schools, and children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
Our inclusive activities include:
- Accessible sensory theatre shows and pantomimes designed for children and young people with a range of needs, including PMLD, verbal and non-verbal, wheelchair users, and those with hyperactivity.
- Drama workshops and classes for SEND, with free trial sessions available.
- Creative workshops for families and schools, including musical theatre, drumming, and dance classes (such as Dance2BFit for over 50s).
- Multi-sensory videos and storytelling experiences, available for both schools and families.
- School experiences tailored for KS1 and KS2, including storytelling workshops and immersive learning.
Our events are held in Surrey and the surrounding area, with prices ranging from free trials to paid sessions (£7.50–£175 depending on the activity). We strive to ensure every child is fully included and able to enjoy themselves, regardless of their needs.
We also offer opportunities for volunteering, fundraising, and community involvement. Our team is passionate about creating memorable, engaging experiences for all participants.
What families and schools say:
- “Outstanding. The way the actors fully engaged the entire audience – PMLD, verbal, non-verbal, wheelchair user or hyperactive, all of them, was great. Seeing both of my sons (who have very different needs) engaging and enjoying themselves in their own way was fantastic.”
- “All of the children absolutely LOVED the day and the Pantomimes! Some of our children have never experienced anything like that before so it was amazing to see them interacting and some even taking part in this sensory show.”
- “A wonderful interactive experience. Students were able to freely explore. All the students were acknowledged, and the leaders knew how to interact with them.”
