Beat The Block is a weekly football and social session designed to support mental health and wellbeing in the Walsall community. Delivered by Walsall FC Foundation in partnership with Hayward Transport, Walsall Rethink, and Black Country Healthcare Foundation Trust, these sessions offer a safe, friendly environment for adults to get active, connect with others, and access informal support from coaches and mental health professionals.
What to expect:
- One hour of football led by experienced staff
- Up to 30 minutes of relaxed social time in the community room
- Opportunities to chat with coaches, peers, and mental health professionals
- Supportive, welcoming atmosphere for all abilities
Sessions run every Thursday from 10:30am – 12:00pm at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium. Whether you're looking to improve your mental health, meet new people, or simply enjoy some exercise, everyone is welcome.
Hear from regular attendees about how Beat The Block has helped them, and join a community making a positive difference through sport and social connection.
