b inspired is a neighbourhood-based charity in Braunstone, Leicester. The Neighbourhood Support Team work to provide support to local people and address the issues they face in their everyday lives.
 
Braunstone Befriending Service aims to tackle loneliness amongst people in the Braunstone community, by providing positive activities and one-to-one support for them to engage in. 
 
The Men’s Group aims to combat loneliness and social isolation amongst men aged 25+. The group promotes meaningful occupation and confidence building. It runs weekly and involves a variety of activities; including gardening, growing veg, basic repair jobs and other practical activities. Trips are also offered, based on a financial contribution by members. 
 
Weekly sessions take place: 
 
Tuesdays - 10am - 12.30pm, meeting at Preloved@45 Community Shop, 45 Wellinger Way, LE3 1RG 
 
Although, some activities take place at other times during the week. 
 
The Men’s social group is only available to men aged over 25, who live in the LE3 1 postcode area. 
 
It is essential that people contact us before attending, as the group operates on a membership-only basis. Upon registration, members will also be given up-to-date information about the group and details of the activities due to take place.
