B inspired is a neighbourhood-based charity in Braunstone, Leicester. The Neighbourhood Support Team work to provide support to local people and address the issues they face in their everyday lives.
 
One of the ways that this is achieved is by the various volunteering opportunities provided, as part of the services b inspired offers to the local community; such as its community magazine ‘The Braunstone Alert’, Befriending Service and Braunstone Foodshare (foodbank).
 
There are various volunteering roles available with b inspired, that offer people the opportunity to get involved and participate in meaningful activities.
 
These include:
 
·      Supporting the delivery of our foodbank service (Braunstone Foodshare).
·      Becoming an at-home or telephone befriender.
·      Volunteering at one of our weekly ‘Talk Time’ social groups.
·      Creating and providing regular content for our community magazine, ‘The Braunstone Alert’.
·      Helping to distribute ‘The Braunstone Alert’ magazine within the local community.
 
 
Volunteering activities take place at various locations around Braunstone. 
 
Individuals must register as a volunteer for b inspired, before taking part in any volunteering activities.
