Carlisle Eden Mind is your local mental health charity, dedicated to supporting people across Cumbria. We believe that no one should face a mental health problem alone. Our services are designed to be accessible, compassionate, and tailored to the needs of our community.

What We Offer:

  • The Lighthouse: Evening, in-person, one-to-one mental health support for those in crisis.
  • Mindline Cumbria: Telephone, text, web chat, and email support for anyone struggling with their own mental health or supporting others. Available county-wide.
  • You In Mind: Daytime, in-person, one-to-one support to help people move beyond crisis and work towards lasting change and personal development.
  • Children and Young People’s Services: Advocacy, training, and coaching for young people, including resources and support groups.
  • Community Groups: Wellbeing-focused groups to help people connect, share experiences, and build resilience.
  • Training: Mental Health First Aid, tailored training for workplaces, suicide prevention, and youth mental health awareness.

  • Call Mindline Cumbria on 0300 561 0000 for immediate support (Mon–Fri 12 noon–11pm, Sat/Sun/Bank Hols 5pm–11pm).
  • Visit our main office at 1 Victoria Place, Carlisle, Cumbria CA1 1EJ for in-person support.
  • Contact us by phone or email for general enquiries, training, volunteering, or fundraising.
