Age UK Torbay's Information and Advice Service is here to help older people in Torbay get the support and guidance they need to live well and confidently.
We offer free, confidential advice on a wide range of topics, including:
- Benefits advice (including Attendance Allowance, Carers Allowance, Housing Benefit, Council Tax, Pension Credit, Personal Independence Payment)
- Help with completing benefit entitlement forms and using our benefits calculator
- Guidance on keeping warm, fuel and cold weather payments, and support for insulation and boiler replacement
- Advice for dealing with tradespeople and bogus callers
- Access to our Home Maintenance Register
- Age UK factsheets and guides on a variety of topics

All services are provided locally from our Paignton office, and you can contact us by phone, email, or in person.
There is no charge for our information and advice service.
