We aim to help local families in need who are struggling or have fallen on hard times. We provide Christmas presents and Christmas dinners for underprivileged children and isolated pensioners, supply household items, furniture and white goods to those fleeing domestic violence, provide food parcels to those who are struggling to make ends meet, and gift toiletries and essentials to disadvantaged people and hospital wards.
We have just acquired our first premises to enable us to expand our services, offering a community pantry and 'share and wear wardrobe', a charity shop area and an aim to create an area to host classes workshops and groups, especially social groups for isolated pensioners, a community hub with free access to computers and printers, as well as having a place to store and wrap all our gifts for our Christmas appeal.
