Sunny Skies Enterprise CIC is a community enterprise supporting Melton Mowbray and the surrounding villages, set up to support isolated persons into their community, Sunny Skies Enterprise CIC created a series of enterprises with a community purpose to target support for identified groups in need. Together with the community we;
-run inclusive community opportunities and events for adults with disabilities,
-operate a community cafe promoting volunteering opportunities for adults with learning disabilities,
-run daily groups for those to get together including veterans, caring for carers and those with dementia,
-operate mental health workshops with the NHS,
-collect surplus food to prevent food waste with a community fridge,
-developing an outside community wellbeing space.
