Acupuncture

Traditional acupuncture follows the belief that Qi (pronounced chee), also known as our spiritual energy or “life force”, flows through our body along channels called meridians. When our Qi doesn’t flow freely and becomes stagnant or blocked, this then causes illness. Acupuncture can restore this flow and thus our health.

The western approach to acupuncture considers its use following medical diagnosis. The sensory nerves under our skin are then stimulated, which in turn causes our bodies to produce natural substances such as endorphins which can relieve pain, improve mood etc.

Acupuncture has been proven to work for thousands of years and can be used alongside western medicine.
