OTAGO Strength & Balance for Falls Prevention

The OTAGO class is taught by a fully qualified OTAGO Instructor. The session includes a warm up, mobility exercises for our joints, strength work using either body weight or therabands (resistance bands) and balance exercises in stationary and walking (with the support of a chair back if needed). It finishes with a cool down and stretch. This exercise program comes from Otago University in New Zealand,
