Shekinah provides a wide range of opportunities and support for people experiencing all forms of homelessness. With over 30 years of experience, our passionate team of staff and volunteers work alongside strategic partners to help individuals build positive lives and futures.

We offer specialist services in health, housing, education, and employment across Plymouth, Torbay, and the wider Devon and Cornwall area. Our support includes:

  • Health & Wellbeing: Specialist health services in Plymouth, plus a variety of wellbeing and personal development courses in Plymouth and Torbay.
  • Housing & Accommodation: A dedicated housing team in Plymouth to help you find a safe and secure place to live.
  • The Learning Exchange: A free, inclusive adult learning programme open to anyone over 18, with no need for previous qualifications or referrals. Courses cover topics such as philosophy, history, economics, languages, technology, music, arts, and crafts.
  • Restorative Justice: Support for people affected by crime, conflict, anti-social behaviour, or harm caused by others, delivered through the Make Amends programme across Devon and Cornwall.
