Richmond Women’s Hub is a welcoming community space offering holistic support for women who have experienced domestic violence, the criminal justice system, abuse, or multiple disadvantages. Launched in February 2024, the Hub is a partnership of organisations dedicated to helping women thrive and rebuild their lives.
Our sessions take place at the Vineyard Community Centre in Richmond and are designed to empower, connect, and support women in a safe, friendly environment. All activities are free of charge and open to any woman who wishes to join.
- Sisterhood Choir – Wednesdays, 11 AM to 12:30 PM (term time only). A fun, inclusive choir where you can make lasting friendships and enjoy singing a wide range of songs. No experience necessary – just turn up and join in!
- Sisterhood Sanctuary – Wednesdays, 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM (term time only). Wellbeing sessions offering pampering (manicures, massage), art and craft activities, and a free healthy vegetarian lunch. Includes mindfulness sessions led by a psychotherapist and access to a community nurse on the first Wednesday of each month.
- ‘I Am’ Project – Wednesdays, 12:30 PM to 2 PM (starting 30th July 2025, 6-week course). Delivered by SEEN Twickenham, this interactive course helps women explore healthy relationships, build self-esteem, and develop a positive self-image. Participants receive a certificate on completion.
We also provide crisis support from specialist professionals, individual support from mental health and wellbeing workers, and onward signposting to additional services. Our community activities focus on building self-esteem, confidence, new skills, and lasting friendships.
How to access: Most sessions are drop-in – just come along on the day. For the ‘I Am’ Project, please sign up in advance. If you would like to refer someone or need more information, contact us by email or visit our website.
