Join us at Ingrebourne Hill from 10am until 12pm on 16 September 2024 for guided walks around your local community woodland.
People can try a taster of Nordic walking or a Wellbeing walk to help them to Feel Good in the Forest.
Forestry England offers a green social prescribing programme called 'Feel Good in the Forest', to support people with mild-to-moderate health conditions, or those who are looking to improve their health and wellbeing, where they can meet new people whilst enjoying being outdoors.

Nordic Walk
Nordic walking is a low impact walk using poles, which creates an enhanced technique to work both upper and lower body. When done correctly it can use 90% of the body’s muscles. It is a fun and social activity that can be enjoyed throughout the year. It's ideal for people that haven’t exercised in a while.
Wellbeing and Tree Walk
Join a guided wellbeing walk where you can relax and be calm in nature. You can hear about the changes in season, develop tree identification skills and experience the sights and sounds of local wildlife, as you explore your community woodland.
