Making Memories with Dementia at The Makery

With our new weekly service we offer a safe and inclusive environment for those suffering with dementia along with their families/carers to enjoy casual arts and crafts as well as fun games created by our volunteers to ensure our service users enjoy their time with us. Our goal is to nurture memories through arts and play. Our community support hub: The Makery is fully accessible and has hot and cold refreshments available every day to purchase during your visit.

Sessions run every Wednesday from 12:30pm - 2:00pm. However we welcome everyone to join us anytime 9:30am - 4:00pm for company, refreshments and a good chat. Our volunteers are fully trained to empathetically offer support and signposting for those with cognitive illnesses/mental impairments.
