Animal Samaritans is dedicated to providing care and shelter for unwanted, abandoned, neglected, or ill-treated animals, with a special focus on cats. Our mission is to find loving, permanent homes for as many pets as possible, operating a strict non-destruction policy—no healthy animal is ever put to sleep.
What we offer:
- Cat Adoption: We help match cats in need with caring new owners. All cats and dogs are microchipped before rehoming, and we encourage neutering to promote responsible pet ownership.
- Veterinary Care Support: We may be able to help with veterinary care costs at one of our partner vets (please note: we cannot pay bills already incurred or provide emergency vet care).
- Foster Network: We do not have a physical rescue centre; instead, our dedicated volunteers and fosterers provide temporary homes and care for animals until they are adopted.
Transparency & Compassion: We are open about our capacity and waiting times. Due to high demand and limited foster space, the current waiting list for cat surrender is estimated at 6 to 9 months for new cases. We remain fully committed to the animals already in our care.
