Jigsaw South East provides compassionate support for children, young people, and their families who are facing or coping with the death of a loved one. Our services are designed to help families navigate grief, build resilience, and find hope during difficult times.
We offer:
- Helpline: Friendly, expert advice and guidance for parents, carers, and professionals supporting bereaved children and young people. Open weekdays 9.30am–12.30pm.
- Pieces Programme: Grief support groups for primary and secondary aged children, offering a safe space to share, learn, and heal together.
- 1:1 Support: Personalised support from an allocated support worker, tailored to each family's unique needs.
- Pre-Bereavement Support: Help for families when a loved one is receiving end of life care.
- Post-Bereavement Support: For children and young people aged 0–18 and their families after the death of a loved one.
- Support Resources & Workbooks: Practical tools for families and professionals to help children understand and process their grief.
- Online Information Sessions: Accessible sessions for families and professionals to learn more about supporting bereaved children.
- Group Activities & Social Events: Opportunities for families to connect, share experiences, and build supportive networks.
Who can access our services?
- Children and young people living or attending school in Surrey, East and West Sussex, and Kent.
- Parents, carers, and professionals (teachers, healthcare workers) supporting a bereaved child or young person.
