About Subco Trust
SubCo was founded in 1993 to address the unmet needs of vulnerable Asian elders in Newham, one of the poorest areas of the UK.

Our services:

  1. Dementia Services: We provide activities and support for Asian elders with various stages of dementia, including early-stage memory loss, as part of our integrated day opportunities programme.
  2. Information, Advice & Advocacy: We give a range of information to Asian elders and their families and refer on to other appropriate services.
  3. Support For Carers: Supporting Asian Older Carers in Newham to Access community services, break down barriers and feel more engaged.
  4. Intergenerational Work: An exciting new feature of our work has been the development of an intergenerational programme of work, involving Asian elders taking part in activities jointly with children and young people from the local community.
  5. Getting Active: we have exercise groups on Wednesday and Thursday.
