Dementia & Memory Impairment - Platimun Jubilee Walks 4 Wellbeing

We aim to promote therapeutic interaction between people and animals at Wisbech Community Led Therapeutic Farm.

Weekly session activities - Wednesday 1300 to 1430 for people living with dementia, their partners or carers. 

Includes: Animal Assisted Intervention activities, art and crafting sessions, singing, heritage crafts, walking, gardening, etc. and obviously includes Tea and Cake!

A multi-generational project 

Also developing a wildlife dementia friendly walking route, funded by the Platinum Jubilee Fund

Our Wisbech Community Farm site brings people together through the appeal of animals and nature, providing early intervention, rehabilitation, multi-agency working, community skills swap & share initiatives, education and training, volunteering schemes and routes back into employment.
