Tai chi is an excellent exercise for older and less mobile adults. It is the only exercise system that actively teaches you to hold and move your body without tension. You learn to improve your posture and breathing and to minimise tension in everything you do.
There has been much research done on the positive effects of tai chi, particularly regarding its positive effects on anxiety, sleep, risk of falling, CHD, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and many other chronic health conditions.
Our classes are always open to new beginners and help them learn the principles of effortless movement to help them become more mobile, less stressed and less in need of healthcare.
Classes every Monday 7.00 - 7.45pm and 8.00 - 8.45pm
First session FREE.
After that the cost is £9 per session or £40 for 5 sessions if booked online.
