ANKH Place CIC focuses on community health creation, wellbeing and peacefulness, emphasising trauma-informed kindness, self-care, empowerment and community-driven leadership. It aims to increase community-based opportunities; to promote wellness; to encourage connectivity; to influence shaping services and to upscale mainstream. Services are managed within a collaborative partnership framework, incorporating co-production, engagement and involvement. ANKH Place CIC currently operates a Family Warm Haven for children and parents; a Mental Wellness Hub for adults (16+); a 2 year physical activity and wellness programme for young people, aged 14-24 years, all with enrichment and self-care activities such as yoga, mindful art, dance, curious conversations and relaxation techniques, amongst other activities.
