Pepper's - A Safe Place offers a welcoming, pressure-free environment for anyone looking to improve their mental health, connect with others, and enjoy a sense of community. There is no charge, no membership, and no agenda—just a friendly space to relax, chat, and take time out for yourself.
We run multiple drop-in sessions each week at our centres in Melton Mowbray and Oakham. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, meet new people, share experiences, or simply take a break. You can come and go as you please—there's no need to book or commit to a full session.
In addition to drop-ins, we offer a variety of activities including:
- Art and cookery classes
- Tai chi and relaxation sessions
- Music making
- First-aid training
- Film nights
Our activities are designed to help you regain confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy self-expression in a supportive, non-judgmental setting. If you have talents or skills you'd like to share, you're welcome to contribute and help make Pepper's a place of cooperation and friendship.
