**Be-a-Friend Service Description**
**Overview**
The Be-a-Friend service connects volunteers with older adults (60+) who live alone and experience social isolation. Our approachable coordinator will facilitate introductions, and the volunteer will engage with the individual regularly—this may include sharing a cup of tea, discussing current events, enjoying walks, or playing games, fostering companionship in the process.
