Our FREE Wellness in Nature groups meet on alternate Wednesday mornings: at Saffron Acres/Saffron Heath, and Mill Field Forest Garden in Thurmaston, between 10.30 am and 1.00 pm. We meet outdoors and offer a blend of bushcraft, Forest School, mindfulness, arts and crafts, and campfire cooking. There is no obligation to take part in any of the activities on offer and you can spend your time relaxing in a hammock if that's what you would like to do! We have breakfast on arrival, and cook and eat lunch together each session.
The groups are aimed at over 18's who are looking for a bit of support with their mental health, wellbeing, or are experiencing loneliness or isolation. The sessions can be used as drop in, but booking really helps us prep. We are not trained counsellors or therapists but provide a supportive and creative space for you to relax, connect with nature and try something new.
