Leicester Musical Memory Box is a not-for-profit organisation offering interactive singing and music-based sessions designed to stimulate memory, boost wellbeing, and reduce loneliness and social isolation. Our sessions combine singing, music, gentle seated exercises, discussion, and cognitive activities to create a fun and welcoming environment for all.
We run regular face-to-face groups across Leicester City, Loughborough, Anstey, Western Park, Oadby, Broughton Astley, Rutland, Melton, and Market Harborough. Our Geet Sangeet groups for the South Asian community are held in Loughborough, Leicester, and online, featuring songs in Gujarati, Hindi, and Punjabi.
We also offer bespoke sessions in care homes, day clubs, and one-to-one visits at home upon request. Our groups are open to anyone who feels they may benefit, including people living with dementia, memory loss, carers, and those seeking companionship and wellbeing through music.
- Weekly and monthly groups in accessible community venues
- Online Zoom sessions for remote participation
