North Kent Mind’s Group Support offers a range of in-person and virtual wellbeing courses and activity groups designed to help adults improve their mental health, build coping strategies, and connect with others in a supportive environment.
Our courses use cognitive behavioural techniques and focus on practical skills for managing depression, anxiety, stress, and self-esteem. Each course runs for 1.5 hours weekly over 6 weeks, with tasks to complete at home. We also offer longer activity groups and virtual sessions to support ongoing wellbeing and social inclusion.

- Managing Anxiety: Explore anxiety, regain control over emotions, and develop problem-solving and relaxation skills.
- Improving Self-Esteem, Confidence & Assertiveness: Build self-worth, confidence, and assertiveness to break cycles of low self-esteem.
- Stress Management and Relaxation Techniques: Practice relaxation, identify stressors, and learn strategies to manage stress from work, family, health, and finances.
- Mindfulness: Learn to pay attention to the present, understand thoughts and feelings, and apply mindfulness in daily life.
