Do you want to do your own shopping but find it difficult to get out on your own? Our Supported Shopping Service is here to help people who, due to ill-health (short or long term), old age, or disability, need extra support to shop independently.
What we offer:
- We collect you from your home and take you shopping to Asda in Nuneaton.
- Our fully accessible minibus has plenty of room for wheelchairs and shopping bags (please note: no mobility scooters).
- A friendly volunteer escort will assist you onto the minibus, help with your shopping, and carry your bags both on and off the minibus and to your home.
- If you prefer, you can simply use our door-to-door transport service.
When and where:
- Pick-ups are every Wednesday from the local areas of Bedworth, Bulkington, and Nuneaton. The route may vary each week.
Cost: £10.00 per journey.
Who can use this service? Anyone who finds it difficult to go shopping alone due to health, age, or disability and lives in the local area.
