Hoarding Disorders UK is a Community Interest Company dedicated to supporting people affected by hoarding behaviours, chronic disorganisation, and extreme clutter. We offer specialist advice, practical support, and a range of resources for individuals, families, and professionals.
Our approach is non-judgemental and trauma-informed, focusing on improving health, safety, and wellbeing. We empower individuals to make positive changes in their lives and work collaboratively with the team around each person to create person-centred solutions.
- Support Groups: Free self-help groups for those challenged by clutter, as well as their families and friends. Groups are available in-person, by telephone, and virtually. Contact us to join or to discuss setting up your own group.
- Training: CPD-accredited courses covering hoarding awareness, practical casework approaches, chronic disorganisation, and the Mental Capacity Act. Training is available virtually and across eight counties in the UK.
- Resources: Access tools such as Clutter Image Ratings, recommended reading, podcasts, and research to help understand and address hoarding behaviours.
- Events: Regular support events for family and friends impacted by hoarding, plus a forum for ongoing peer support.
We work with support workers, volunteers, and other agencies to deliver the best possible support. Our services are designed to be accessible, effective, and tailored to each unique situation.
All support groups are free to attend. Training courses may have a fee; please check our website for details and registration.
