Contact offers a wide range of free support and advice for families with disabled children, whatever your child’s condition or disability. We’re here for every shape and size of family, providing practical help, emotional support, and expert guidance.

Our services include:

  • Access our comprehensive library to learn more about your child’s condition.
  • Information & advice: Get online, printed, and helpline advice on education, benefits and finances, childcare, social care, medical information, and more.
  • Listening Ear: Book a 1-1 telephone appointment with a family support worker for practical and emotional support.
  • Workshops & events: Join our range of workshops, information sessions, and events designed for families.
  • Parent carer participation: Find out how you can get involved in improving local services through parent carer participation.
  • Campaigns & research: Stay informed about our latest campaigns to help you get the rights you are entitled to.
  • HemiHelp: We continue the work of HemiHelp, supporting children and young people living with hemiplegia.

How to access our support:

  • Our free helpline is available to parents and carers of disabled children aged 0-25, living anywhere in the UK. Call 0808 808 3555 (Monday-Friday, 9.30am-5pm).
  • Book a Listening Ear appointment for emotional support.
  • Explore our online resources, join workshops, and connect with other families through our online communities.
