I would like to take the opportunity to introduce Extra Help North West Leicestershire to you.
My name is Sam and I am the owner of Extra Help North West Leicester. There are 37 other Extra Help franchises across the country offering support to predominately the elderly but also anyone else who may need it.
Our aim is to support the elderly and vulnerable to enable them to live independently for longer. We aim to always provide our clients with the same home-helper for every visit but, if this is ever not possible due to illness or holidays, we’ll always honour our commitment to and try to send a replacement helper, if the client is happy with this.
Our experienced, trustworthy home helpers are DBS checked fully referenced and insured. They are always on hand with a friendly smile to help with a diverse range of everyday jobs such as:
· companionship
· housekeeping
· meal preparation
· cleaning
· shopping/collecting medication (either for the clients or with the client)
· transport/escort to appointments/social groups/going out for coffee/garden centre etc.
· gardening service
Upon receiving a referral from yourselves
I phone the client to arrange a suitable time for me to visit
I visit either independently or with one of your team to discuss their requirements
I allocate a helper to them
I then arrange to visit with myself and the helper, to introduce them to the helper and arrange a start date
The helper starts the visits
