Samaritans of Walsall and District

Welcome to Walsall & District Samaritans

Opened in 1969, our Walsall & District branch is celebrating it's 50th year in 2019. For half a century we have forged vital links within our community. Our outreach team are regular visitors to local schools, workplaces and hospitals, training and spreading the word about the vital work carried out by Samaritans.

What we do:
Provide emotional support all year round by phone, email, SMS and Face to Face for those struggling or in crisis, including those who are feeling suicidal

Support a population of over 300,00 members of Walsall and the surrounding areas.

Work in partnership with many local organisations to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention.

Provide workplace training for organisations by teaching staff listening techniques and awareness of good mental health.

How you can help:
Donate to our branch, every penny helps our callers.

Become a volunteer at Walsall & District branch. We need both listening volunteers and support volunteers. See our branch news below for more info.
