Appolo Community Support CIC offers a wide range of support services designed to reduce loneliness and isolation among older people, including those living with dementia or disabilities.

Our mission is to fight unintentional neglect by providing personalized, person-centered care for those who are housebound or confined to bed. We understand the impact of loneliness on mental and physical health, and we strive to foster companionship, friendship, and wellbeing through our services.

  • Home-Based Activity Support: Engaging activities for older people, including bingo, arts & crafts, puzzles, knitting, sudoku, and jigsaw competitions, tailored for those confined to home or bed.
  • Personal Assistance: Help with meal preparation, light cleaning, medication pick-up, arranging medical appointments, making referrals, and general tidying.
  • Light Exercise at Home: Gentle exercise sessions to promote physical health and mobility.
  • Online Group Sessions: Monthly online sessions for housebound individuals, including book club membership, film watching, and analysis.
  • On-Call Activity Support: Available for clients in care homes and individual homes, including day and night activities for distressed clients.
  • Directions in Adult Social Options: Guidance and support to help clients access social opportunities and community resources.

Our qualified and compassionate staff are dedicated to delivering high-quality care, tailored to each individual's unique needs and preferences. We offer comprehensive home assistance to enhance quality of life and promote independence.

How to Access: Services are available Monday to Saturday, 8:00am–6:00pm. Contact us by phone or email to discuss your needs and book a session. We serve clients in Stoke on Trent and surrounding areas.

Who Can Use This Service? Older people, those living with dementia, disabilities, or anyone experiencing loneliness and isolation. We also support clients in care homes.
