Worried you might lose your home or have nowhere safe to stay?
Havering Council's Housing Solutions service is for people in Havering who are homeless or threatened with homelessness, including because of eviction, an unsafe or difficult home situation, or leaving hospital or prison. The service can help you try to stay in your home, move to another home, or understand what housing support may be available.
- Get help to prevent homelessness if you may lose your home within 56 days or have received a valid notice.
- Talk through your circumstances, support needs and local connection.
- Agree a Personal Housing Support Plan with steps for you and the council.
- Get help looking for private rented housing, which may sometimes be outside Havering.
- You may be considered for financial assistance with a deposit and rent in advance, or for temporary accommodation.
