Sing! Community Choir is a friendly and supportive choir open to adults of all ages. No auditions are required and you don't need to be able to read music—everyone is welcome!
The choir meets weekly to sing a wide variety of songs, including pop, gospel, and jazz. It's a great way to reduce stress, boost your mood, and meet new people. Singing together helps you build musical skills, learn new lyrics, and keep your brain active.
- Weekly rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings at Hills Road Sixth Form College.
- The choir currently has around 100 members and is run by a group, encouraging everyone to get involved—whether that's teaching, conducting, leading a warm-up, or singing a solo.
- Taster sessions are available throughout the year so you can try the choir for free and see if it's right for you.
- There is a termly fee for rehearsals, with a reduced rate for concessions.
