Information and support for anyone impacted by gambling related harm.
GamCare are a national organisation providing information and support for those impacted by gambling related harms.
We work with both gamblers and those people around them who may be affected.
The National Gambling helpline can offer confidential 24 hour support for anyone who needs it. It is free to call and runs 365 days per year, 0808 8020 133.
You can talk to an advisor who can offer a listening ear as well as practical advice and support. Live Chat and WhatsApp facilities can be accessed via the GamCare website for those who wish to make contact but feel uncomfortable using a telephone.
The GamCare website has a range of support options including access to our daily Chatrooms and Forum, information about Self Exclusion and Self Help Resources.
While on the website you may also want to take a look at our GameChange Course. GameChange is an online treatment course for those who are concerned about their gambling behaviour, supported by regular contact with a GamCare therapist. The course has been designed so you can work at your own pace, wherever is most convenient for you, over the course of eight weeks.
Finally GamCare along with Beacon Counselling Trust, our North West treatment partner can offer both gamblers and affected others a chance to access our 1-2-1 treatment services. You can self-refer into this service either by talking to one of the Helpline advisors or by contacting Beacon Counselling Trust directly on 0151 226 0696.
