The Meeting Room Charity - For Vulnerable Adults

The Meeting Room is a registered charity supporting vulnerable people in Mole Valley and Epsom & Ewell. We offer a safe, welcoming environment for anyone facing homelessness, poverty, addiction, loneliness, or physical and mental health challenges.

Our lunchtime drop-in centres in Leatherhead, Ashtead, and Epsom provide:

  • Hot meals and refreshments served in a friendly, supportive setting
  • Companionship and social interaction to reduce isolation and loneliness
  • Practical help with housing, benefits, health, and other issues
  • Advice and guidance from experienced staff on finance, work, accommodation, and personal matters
  • Signposting to other agencies for specialist support
  • Help attending medical appointments
  • Mental health and wellbeing activities including day trips and residential outings to build confidence and self-esteem
  • Opportunities for counselling and professional support

We work closely with local partners and businesses to provide ongoing support, including regular food donations and expert advice sessions.

All services are free of charge and open to people of all backgrounds and ages. No referral is needed—just drop in during opening hours.

If you would like to volunteer, we welcome help with client support, cooking, serving meals, kitchen duties, and out & about support. Training and ongoing support are provided for all volunteers.
