**Charnwood Community Fridge Description**
The Charnwood Community Fridge is a collaborative space designed to prevent food waste while fostering community connections. It is open to everyone who wants to share or take surplus food from various sources, including supermarkets, local businesses, and community gardens.
**Location:**
- **Address:** Shelthorpe Family Hub, Beacon Academy, Woodthorpe Road, Loughborough, LE11 2NF
- **Operating Hours:** Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
**Participation Guidelines:**
- **Who Can Participate:** Everyone is welcome to contribute or take food.
- **What to Bring:** Please bring your own bags, as we may not always have extras available.
- **Food Sharing Etiquette:** We kindly request that you only take what you need to help us support as many individuals as possible.
**Community Safety:**
During busy times, please expedite your visit, as queues may extend into the parking lot, which could pose safety risks.
**Additional Information:**
- This initiative is part of the Community Fridge Network coordinated by Hubbub and run by dedicated volunteers from Leicestershire County Council Family Help.
- Please note that we cannot guarantee specific quantities of food availability; however, we strive to provide every visitor with something.
